Lu Meihong, a senior arts and crafts master and a director of the Suzhou Embroidery Association, is the founder of Suzhou Mei Hong Embroidery Studio.As a national-level inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage of Suzhou embroidery, she has learned from many masters of Suzhou embroidery and integrated systematic stitching techniques with various creative concepts to develop her own artistic style. Her works are renowned for their "precision, delicacy, elegance and vitality", emphasizing detailed depiction and artistic conception expression. She is particularly skilled at presenting the effect of ink wash painting through the luster changes of silk threads, endowing traditional Suzhou embroidery with new vitality. Her works have won the gold medal at the China Art Expo many times and have been highly praised and collected by all sectors of society.

Suzhou embroidery

Suzhou embroidery, originated in Suzhou, is one of the four famous embroideries and also a national intangible cultural heritage.
