Song brocade originated in the Spring and Autumn period and was formed in the Song Dynasty. Later, when people talked about brocade, they would always mention Song brocade, which is how it got its name. It was later given the title of “the crown of Chinese brocade” and is considered a top-level existence among traditional Chinese fabrics. The production process of Song brocade is rather complex, with the main feature being that both the warp and weft threads display patterns.
